New Moons are the right time for bringing in the new.
Full Moons are the right time for celebrating, releasing, and reveling in successes.

Each month the New and Full Moons fall in opposing astrological signs, which rule different qualities and aspects of life. You can use these times to work on specific issues, hopes, desires and goals that correspond to the astrological energies of the Moon phase. Connecting with the monthly rhythms of our own internal biological and emotional/intuitive clocks can greatly increase our ability to fulfill dreams and goals.
These evenings will take place outdoors or in the Temple depending on the season and weather

Full Moon Celebrations
The Full Moon is a time of celebration.

On the evening of the Full Moon come and share your spirit with us in meditation, songs, chants, drumming, nature sounds, movement and meditation for world peace.
It's a time of being in a place of gratitude and thanks. Come and express your spirit through the voices of nature.
The Full Moon is a time when you celebrate completions,
and letting go of unhealthy behavior and patterning.

Full Moons also encourage us to let go of things we no longer need in our life.
On this night use part of the Full Moon ritual to release the intention to the Universe by burying the paper in the ground, or burning it in a conch shell or cauldron.

New Moon Celebrations
Join us as we gather on the New Moon to Celebrate, for growth, gain, increase, begin new projects, new relationships, new career, new homes, relocate, and drawing new things into our lives with joy.
New Moons
are powerful times to do serious work on self-healing.

Mercury Retrograde: April 6 -30
Mercury
goes retrograde at the one degree mark of Taurus. From the 6th through the 12th, Mercury retrograde in Taurus is likely to bring breakdowns in communication about business, salesmanship, investments and that type of thing. This is a good time to be persistent as well as patient. By the 12th, the retrograde Mercury will begin to go back through the later degrees of Aries (the real test of our patience), which will possibly cause a susceptibility to arguments, confrontations, and needs for self-defense. We will all look forward to begin the month of May as Mercury goes forward in Aries and we celebrate May Day and begin new projects. We all understand each other again!

The Sun is at its lowest path in the sky on the Winter Solstice. After that day the Sun follows a higher and higher path through the sky each day until it is in the sky for exactly 12 hours. On the Spring Equinox the Sun rises exactly in the east travels through the sky for 12 hours and sets exactly in the west. On the Equinox this is the motion of the Sun through the sky for everyone on earth. Every place on earth experiences a 12 hours day twice a year on the Spring and Fall Equinox.
After the Spring Equinox, the Sun still continues to follow a higher and higher path through the sky, with the days growing longer and longer, until it reaches it highest point in the sky on the Summer Solstice.
On the Summer Solstice, which occurs on June 21, the Sun is at its highest path through the sky and the day is the longest. Because the day is so long the Sun does not rise exactly in the east, but rises to the north of east and sets to the north of west allowing it to be in the sky for a longer period of time.
After the Summer Solstice the Sun follows a lower and lower path through the sky each day until it reaches the point where it is in the sky for exactly 12 hours again. This is the Fall Equinox. Just like the Spring Equinox, the Sun will rise exactly east and set exactly west on this day and everyone in the world will experience a 12 hour day.
After the Fall Equinox the Sun will continue to follow a lower and lower path through the sky and the days will grow shorter and shorter until it reaches its lowest path and then we are back at the Winter Solstice where we started.
